Near the end of the cartoon network shows life I remember trying to go back to it online and they fact they kept the weird wobbly stretchy movements felt so jarring I simply dropped it

Having a diehard opinion on Annoying Orange is a bit like having a diehard opinion on Yo Mama jokes. This show is an unstoppable force that cares not for the ten-year-old, stuck-in-the-past opinion that it's dumb. No shit. I mean, what more do you want? These aren't the Justin Bieber-bashing days anymore. Nobody today even knows or cares what it is anymore, so people can stop trying to seem so above it like some insecure emo high schooler who's above a talking fruit show.
I have vague memories of watching the tv show when I was little, but even back then I don't think I really cared for it.
It wasn't until recently that I found out Tobuscus played the human character in the show, I used to love his music videos...but that's a whole other can of worms.

AO was seen as a "dying channel" for more than 7 years now, at this point I only see it as a ironic meme (and whatever I think about that orange I think about Ghost Gum thumbnail in which Annoying Orange face is photoshopped to look like Ben Shapiro).

Dane saying “Skibidi Toilet is the Annoying Orange of this generation” with such conviction was awesome, actually the whole video they did recently with Smosh was great. I loved AO as a kid until I reached the age of reason

i haven't watched him since 2012. But although, i did watched an old video of fred and annoying orange especially as a kid. They were really funny back then and still is :p ((idk about the new ones i haven't checked their channel))
Even though I never liked it, I can't help but have nostalgia for that era.

I never really liked the annoying orange since he annoyed the shit out of me (no pun intended) but I do get some nostalgia from it since my brother and I would watch it when we were wee lads

I'm... honestly still at a loss for how this expanded beyond youtube video memes.
I've seen the original video and for what it was before the creator decided to make sequels I'll admit, it did get a laugh out of me but that's about as much as it amounted to because it was just one of those things you'd look at once... Then somehow it took off and got it's own show on cartoon network that was pretty much doomed to fail.
The only thing impressive about it is that it had that much of a life beyond just what should have been a one off video and that's about it.
