In Blacksad our main characters here on the cover look like humans wearing animal skins, the lady looks specially bad with a combination of several tropes others have mentioned here. I hate how she's supposed to be furry but just... isn't
Strangest thing is how they are the only ones like this, the rest of the characters have a very classic Disney anthro look

Oh my god I remember Amino, I used to spend the early days of my art journey in there. I specially remember how every B grade YouTuber used to get sponsored by it (that’s how I found out about it at least)
A lot of people give a it bad rap (and honestly the people behind it deserve it for some of the things they ended up doing) but I always look back at it as a positive experience that let me grow alongside other beginner artists. I was just mindful of the communities I joined I guess, I never met anyone that was incredibly toxic and the mods of my main community were very nice

Hey my name's Jon/Yolk and I joined the site earlier this year but I couldn't do that much because of school, it was my last year and they were tuff. Now that it's all over I want to be more involved in the site since it seems interesting and I've heard good things, I'm a little tired of algorithms but I still post on the gram lol
I however do know quite a bit about NewGrounds history and culture so I'm not completely lost or anything (God bless 3 hour video essays)
Currently I'm trying to improve my art skills and OCs but I'll draw fanart too when I'm feeling it
I will also be attending art school after the summer! Yay!

If you’d like to make artwork for others, why not put yourself up in the Collabinator? It’s basically a way to advertise yourself for requests, trades, etc!
Don’t make a new Art Forum thread saying you’ll draw people’s OCs, or asking people to draw yours; we’ve had a huge influx of those recently, and people were getting sick of them popping up everywhere and of the same people replying to all of them. All OC related art requests/offerings are therefore now contained within the OC Plaza thread.

The collaborator sounds fun! I've mean meaning to try it but maybe only one of those simple ones were they just draw a buch of characters with a common theme rather than those deeper game dev and comic projects I seem to find since those are very daunting.

haha thank you so much for the kind word I really put a lot of effort into that one and yeah I’ve noticed art can get a little lost on the portal, so if I were to make a thread for my art would it simply need to be called something like ‘my recent art’ and people would be fine with it? It seems kinda selfish but maybe that’s just me
