What makes me keep going the pursuit of my dream.

To make a story so great the whole world will remember it for century's after I've turned to dust. To make something that'll inspire thousands, if not Million's, to follow their dreams.

There is no "what ifs" or "buts" in my mind.

I can go blind, lose a leg or two, I can be remembered as a dirty rat for all I care, but no matter what my dream will be realised.

Either by me or by someone who I effected by the domino effect I've created.

how off model can your characters faces get?

When I mean "off model" i'm referring to how much the face deviates form the characters basic face, or model face.

Heres an example from the show that does this sort of thing the most:

It's generally a good idea to come up with how the story will start and end before writing the final version, along with how the basic steps each story of the comic follows.

a good example is one piece, most arcs generally follow the structure of an oppressor who defeats a past hero, have the oppressor have an evil and oppressive rule over a given location until the main characters pull up, literally beat them into submission, and liberate those who were oppressed.

So I recommend you to build a template of how the stories going in your comic and then modify if to fit your needs.

Remember to not take the template as if it's the only option as a story teller, you don't want to be predicable.

I did another test comic

I'm getting better for sure, but I need to figure out how to make a brush draw a selected pattern on krita.

I want the dithering effect to be more spread out so it doesn't look to bad when scaled up or down.

This down scaled version somehow made the dithering look cooler :{, I MUST LEARN!!!

I'm in the early phases of crafting my own way of drawing human faces and I have to start off somewhere

so I 'borrowed' some cues from one piece to start off as a base.

Just have to make this even more simple and cartoony then one piece is......

If you want to get your music more popular and heard then you have to go all out with what you want to make

I'm not saying you should for example quit a job to focus on your music.

I'm saying that when you have an idea for a song you truly believe in, don't half ass it, try make it the best you can make it.

I cannot stress how much making what you want matters because if you only make what others want you to make then you'll only be copying what has already been done and it's super depressing to do what you don't want to.

Here are some other things that are generally good todo when growth is in your mind: post your songs on more internet platforms, making music that appeals to niche or small communities, and most importantly you should strive to find ways to improve you craft.

It may take a long time but if your determined to bring your ideas to the highest levels you can bring them eventually people will notice, even if small.

TLDR:

Make what you want, at the best quality you can make it, along with making more opportunity's for people to discover your music.

on final note I should say this: if you don't find it fun to make it, why bother? If you don't like what you're making, why bother? If you don't like what you made, then who else will?

You may not see it but I'm now starting use the third dimension more in my drawings, and what better way to get better at that then using the character you made who is fundamentally a bunch of box's and rectangles

I'll start with one of my own stories

It's called MISTAKEN (the all caps title looks cool)

have you noticed how your story's evolved over time?, because it's insane how much can change in even a mouth.

So to commemorate all of these story's we've been making for so long with our hearts and soul, i made the forum post where we all can share our story's set up and description about the general tone.

But I must warn you about two things first:

1. No one cares about the complex plot lines in a story that doesn't exist yet, keep the nitty gritty to yourself you now
2. this is a public post, everyone can see and take some of your ideas, it's fine if you change and remix the idea but you know how people can be with people taking their 'original ideas'

Now show me what your cooking please.

Always have some sort of sketch book and pencil on you to write and draw down your ideas on a whim, later you can iterate on those ideas. Making an art thread you post on every so often is a good way to get a little extra attention.

(IF the title of the forum/thread doesn't have an NSFW warning on it then don't post nsfw in it, that may seem obvious but you'd be surprised with how well people manage to weave their eye sight away form the rules list.)

and last but not least, draw things you haven't drawn before, you it's helps you draw said thing better and increases you speed of learning how to draw new things.

Just to give you all context,

Disney is most likely to use their Trademark on Mickey mouse from steamboat willy to as a substitute for copyright.

So unless the government stops this from happening or your interpretation of steamboat willy's Mickey mouse is clearly not from Disney then they can make a legal argument that what you're making is hurting their brand image since people would mistake your Mickey mouse as theirs.

I don't know much about legal stuff but if you're interested in this then go research it yourself.
