Waiting for your news !

I encountered something weird. When I am submitting art in the portal, the problem is that it automatically turn it in an horizontal canvas. Wether my canvas is presented as vertical. So I don't really understand why it does that. i try to upload it elsewhere without much trouble.
Do you know why and how bypassing it?
Thank you :)
and sorry if the questions was already asked.
Very good point, because yes I do ! :D

Hey Mooke what'sup? Hope y ou are fine! it's funny because I did already use one of your song (collapse) in one game jam that I find absolutely amazing. Thank for your suggestions! I think I found what I need in your library. [Redacted] seems to fit in nicely for a part of the game I am currently making. Cool stuff!
But I have another question! Do you have in your library, a song like collapse but without any eerie moments? Something frenetic, powerful and that keeps the rythm high? Would really appreciate it :)
Thank you !

Well thank you for your info :) I will then try to contact him but i didn't really want to put some work on the table, I was more looking if someone heard a song similar to which I found in the reference video cause roaming all the audio alone is tedious. But I will still write him to see what he thinks. Thanks again :)

Hello,
I am roaming the audio portal since a long time and couldn't put my finger on a type of song that would fit on a little game I am making with HELL as a background.
I have a reference here and would like to find that kind of songs (starts from 0:58 to 1:48)
https://youtu.be/ysCrkeoKdnY?t=53
with holy voices, powerful orgue and that kind of stuff. Do you know any songs looking like this one?
Its for a game jam free project.
Thank you
Hi everyone, hope you are doing good!
I think it was a brilliant idea to dare that kind of thing. It lets understand the message in a pratical way. Since I started using newgrounds back in early 2000's it was the first time it give me a good punch in the face and oh boy there are some artistic material on here that gives a punch already!
Also the geographical survey was really really nice, I loved the loading messages that kept me waiting to just put me back where I started. Ha great game! xD
Well done and thank you for using newgrounds as a real platform that communicates with everyone.
Also well done on your player can't wait to see that, you deserve all the success and the support!
Take care.

I always try as much as I can to collaborate with artists on newgrounds, one of my biggest projects to date was solely made with the help of wonderful people from newgrounds. And I strive for collaborations.
Unfortunately my ignorance towards this tool made me a hard time finding an ambiance music that I needed for my last game jam, and after not being able to find a music where I should not "Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details." I had to go elsewhere as my gamejam was limited in time unfortunately.
It would be great to highlight this tool a bit better for users, but it might just be my ignorance once again. I've should have knew it.
Can't wait for my next jam and credits newgrounds artists! :D
Search bar is always a touchy thing to work on so I can understand the difficulty to make things simple, clear, and informative at the same time.
As an example in opengameart.org when you search something in the search bar, on the left side of the screen, after the page refreshed they automatically add the options to narrow your search. It might not be sexy and user friendly but it does the job.
That being said, I never enjoyed researching something with the search bar on newgrounds, I would rather go directly to the categories because I was not aware I could actually narrow my search, that's why. I do use it to find artists rather than works from time to time.
After some tries, the avanced option to narrow your search works wonderfully and I might include it in my habit of researching things with it by now.
It's just a pitty I never paid attention to the fact I could click to "advanced". + It seems that it is integrated directly in the page when your search is done (javascript or ajax maybe) so if it does not need to refresh the page in order to see the advanced search, it could be well showed directly rather having to click.
Also, thank you for hearing the community, that is great and rare. Keep up the good work!

Really cool ! Bravo ! :)
and thank you !
Hello !
I don't know if it is the right section to post this but I'm an indie dev looking for someone being able to make a launch trailer for an upcoming game.
It's really not a big project but I have a difficult time making a trailer that looks like....you know, pro.
So I was looking for some help :) paid help of course !
If this is not the right place to ask, please let me know because I don't know where on Newgrounds that can be posted.
Thank you.
Hi 8-bitheroes.
Thank you for your message but to be transparent with you I already have some people interested in the project and would like to try to give them a chance without promessing too much to a lot of people.
I hope that is alright with you. I don't doubt your quality as a musician, I heard what you do and its cool. Keep up the good work !
cheers
I do not know how to close this question, but I have found some people interested in the collab', so thank you for your time to the people who got to read my ticket :)
Have a nice day !
Hi,
I actually created a thread in the Audio forum but obviously it was a miss.
So i'm trying here.
I'm creating with a buddy a little platformer game that has a japanese theme into it.
And i'm looking for someone who can be able to create some music with japanese touches and have a happy/comic style into it for some gameplay stages (menu, gameover, gameplay, etc..)
We are two on the game, and we plan to be able to try steam in the future and put on newgrounds a playable version.
So it is the first time i'm making that request and i'm not sure if i'm doing it properly. Excuse myself if that is out of place but I would really love to involve newgrounds artists as I love that place.
If anyone is interested for more details and want to get in touch I would be glad to collaborate :)
Hi,
I was roaming the audio portal and was a bit lost between all the choices.
I would like to know if it is the right place here to ask if someone is interested in collaborating at creating japanese music for a little 2d game that me and a friend are creating.
It's not something big (although we would like to put quality into it) it is just a little project me and my friend were keen on working and would like in the future to be able to reach steam.
If it works well, I would love to put a free demo on newgrounds when it will be ready.
I do not know how to make that work, so if anyone is interested please let me know, would be very glad to collaborate on music :)
Hi Kalverin, I did.
But I wanted to know if people know a website or a link with that kind of resources. Just like you know people looking for some art on deviant art, looking for some alternatives I link them up to newgrounds portal as they might not know it exists. Simply as that.
Hi there!
I don't know if it is the right place to ask that thing but I was looking over the internet and couldn't find anything really helpful.
I'm looking for some drawings of japanese castle (video game like). I would like to find some assets where I can get inspired for a 2D game and i'm looking for 2D assets, hand-drawed that already exists to get an idea on how to make things.
You know japanese doors, japanese tatami, japanese roofs etc...
but in a way like castle crasher looks, but a japanese way of it. So I don't know if you have any link or resources that can get me some inspiration drawings?
Thank you for any help !
That will do. Thanks for your answers.
Hi,
I subscribed for one year, renewable, with newgrounds. After a hiccup I cancelled my subscription and as I already paid for the year I wanted to know how can I reactivate the automatic funding again once the year will be over.
Will I lose all advantages etc? Or can someone help me reactivating my subscription?
Thanks
