Sitcoms, kpop, and fabulous theatre would disagree
Looking at your gallery, it seems more that you've got a problem with depth. Most of those faces are flat and look at the audience.
Maybe try drawing shaded circles?
You're decent with proportions, so maybe just try redrawing abstractly a reference with 3d shapes
.Tropes as in story progression rather than stereotypes. How about the charas that know what they want and every action they do is explainable as trying to accomplish their wants? It's relatably frustrating when an episode disallows the chara to work towards what they want, and instead engages shallow dialogue and filler activities
Kanye had it right. Love them haters, they're just confused about their fixations.

I will upload it on NG whatever the result - Just know that if it ends up being atrocious you will be an accomplice in my unscouting.
.. so just record hitting a player while it plays pink floyd

What, because it's stupider?
If games are art, then all the ones in the past decade that've been stunted or grabbed by profit-only managers at the expense of the fans' indulgence.
A story is always made by witty delivery. Spoken or written, a sensible sequence or perspective of the historic events can make things more interesting than with an unattached-anonymous 3rd person narrator. Also, ntr is brokenly unpopular for whenever it needs good ruining.
Gollum, and others
Interesting question when put on this site. I sometimes wonder how folks put up with Frontpage slopimation.
There's a lot of conjecture about why ugliness is chosen for promotion. One would typically think studios are starved for talent, wherein the best work could be reproduced. It's like ugly is the lowest common denominator for the team of animators. Ugly is easy to remake. Maybe ugly is fast and easy, to cover for a better project's failures in scheduled releases.
What if these publishers want to starve the masses for the good shows? That's against the company's viewer-and-monetary interest, unless they're a captured institution by some other interest. Maybe there's an executive decision to make some shows like shit so others appear better. Content curation has been noted on youtube, for example, where most everyone agrees the popular stuff is obnoxious, yet it stays popular.
Maybe these shows are indicative that audiences don't know what they want, or that creators misinterpret what audiences want. What if the proliferation of ugly in shows like Problem Solverz is indicative of deliberate, closely measured quantities of what audiences are capable of tolerating? Maybe the studios want to know just how sloppy the quality can get before audiences leave? Adult Swim doesn't care much with their limited night-time viewership, and their quality is shit as demonstrated by a show like squidbillies. Maybe adults are more willing to tolerate ugliness for the expectation that the show is a comedy. Maybe these cartoons are looking to increase the audience's tolerances for shit, so producers can be more lazy yet still get the same viewership for their ad-twats. What if advertisements were more pretty than the shows?
Sounds like the architect's description of the first matrix
So the setting usually shifts when the big hanchos enter the ring. More specifically, it's like the setting shifts in accordance to reveal their intentions. In dr strange, the ancient's last fight is her most revelative. In metal gear, there's a neat kinda genjutsu effect with boss and her flowers, as if she took snake to another version of reality with her fight. Supersmashbros had the idea with final destination, kinda like ff7's. So, I guess mine would be like inside a tunnel of a retro winmedplayr music visualization or summat.
1 Moving clouds on river's surface
2 Unreal tournament gotye razorback
3 Link's awakening sword search
Music studio lite is a free demo for phone. It's cheap and has simplest DAW i've seen.
Friday Night Funki was kinda an odd release for this site. Typical game projects on this site have partly cooked concepts. It had a narrative for the actions and characters, and implicit moral lessons to learn regarding skill-- the aspect of earning or proving skill through competition (even if your chara's skill is to obnoxiously copy beepboops). As I recall, it had like 1 or 2 demo levels at its release. People kinda latched onto it to complete its narrative or to adapt its characters into memetic content. FNF was kinda pushed by fan content to become the popular phenomenon that it is.
For this site, Newgrounds had a hunger for a clean/advertisable game which could be passed around for growth of users from other sites. Newgrounds is still kinda hungry for supporters and content creators. The content creators already here are also kinda searching for their next big idea to bite down on.
My point being, that without FNF, Newgrounds would be more empty with more of a stagnated/older community. It's possible that something else could have taken the attention of so many people, but I'd expect that absence of FNF would result in more boredom and less user engagement.
Maybe the lesson is that there's some kind of critical point of collective boredom wherein peeps just become fans of something. Maybe the popularity of FNF could have been caught by something else.
Like reductionism? Calarts kinda does that and it's the worst thing. Like, there's going to be an outlet for that kind of expression, but what progress is there when shapes increasingly diminish while representing complex subjects? Wouldn't that reduce the qualities of characters? Businesses and advertisements have been using child drawings to propagandize their messages like they're for kids, like adults should already have agreed with the concepts being pushed. It's kinda painful to tolerate.
I recomend the keyframes method.
I always mention pencil2d on these types of threads.
Breakcore references more the drum breaks. Often sampled and where other noise drops out or supplements the solo. It has roots in jazz solos, prior to the mashed techno loops.
DnB references the bass obvi. It doesn't need to have mutating drum phrases, which makes me think it's more like a constrained techno.
Jungle references a cacophony that should be layered with many sounds, which has reference to an environment where the sounds don't need to be related to each other, as more they add to varied ambience. It's got layers of rainforest canopies.
Yep that's a good ask. Newgrounds is the place for it. Yepper. Want a better commune for gamers like your silly ol self, well you ask is well placed. Yeppy We here know the better bits of socia le gamar. Lemme tell you, indie forums won't have anyone there, so they won't be insufferable. Join the hipster game forums for sure, yeps.
Isn't the point to smash them all?
~2010, unowenwasher from synthesia. Its a clunky song but it's about as colorful as the game is. Of course the only-girls fights would be all about the pretty flower shapes, though the idea of dodging trippy fields of moving colors is novel. It harkens to times when game difficulty wasn't compared to darksouls. Shitpost animations of skits were funny, so I skimmed the lore. Seems aesthetically improvised with convolution that only comes from jillions of Shinto deities. Demetori showed off the discography better than shibayan et al.
Sounds like your social is mannered and not genuine.
Remaeks, made by robots. Pacify the mindless. Capture youth with tradition. Creation is a chore now; it's a ritual to translate gamers' heritage of greatness into the impressionable audiences hungry for the experiences they were starved of by their late arrival. Let us all remember the times that were, rather than what could have been if we had progressed. Let the studios determine which visions are truest to their commercial retelling of their modder fans. ick
Skyrim was the best of its time. Nintendo had such recurring wet dreams of accomplishing what Skyrim was, that it gave BOTW the first roomless overworld in a zelda game and ported skyrim to the switch so as to not miss out its continuing impact on the gaming environment. LOTR showed how to depict fictional medieval art, while Skyrim showed what the best studios should be making.
I'm talking about something akin to this: https://youtu.be/jTXH2w7kC_U
So like glitchhop but speedy metal, like audiomoshing, like jumpcore with nightcore, like glitchcore? Wow you just found me glitchcore and it has the prettiest images. Honestly, this might be too young of a motion for oldschool Newgrounds archives. I keep finding your sound dated at like 2021. Likely, the new guys doing this sound are being blammed for being to avant. You can most definitely claim this sound in your own way if you can make some.
