A pretty much important update info:
The last big thing I need to do to finish the update is new achievements and unlocks.
I am working on achievements rework that may break the saving system. I know I probably shouldn't do it but I plan to split all the 10 existing achievements in 3 chains. Which means you can complete the requirement to get an achievement but if the previous achievement isn't completed you're not getting the reward. Instead, you will get a message "Well done! To get an achievement for this task, complete achievement #[req]".
Having this stuff in chains will make savecodes shorter, meaning you won't be able to load your v3.3 progress.... Unless I make something to convert v3.3 data into v3.4! If it takes lots of code, I can make it as a file that does the conversion.
What do you think about this? Should I leave achievements like they were in v3.3, or chains seems like more fun?
A bunch of unexpected news:
— 2 weeks ago, it's been 1 year anniversary since v2.9 came out (not really proud of my older versions but progress is progress)
— The update v3.4 is aiming to release on 28-29th of May, but I got lots of work and the development is stuck when adding new complicated features, but stable if I'm adding something simple. The latest example is an "Invert" button for Puzzle 3, and considering adding new tools in future, that'd make the gaming experience much easier. If the update is delayed, I'll tell it at my Discord.
— Will the cloud variables work someday? No idea ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Global variables always reset for some reason here. Reload the page after you finished playing (but don't forget to save your data) maybe that could help. Someone probably didn't close tabs with the game, or something with the server
I wonder what you're going to send here?
I might send all the news here too. But people will still get the best stuff at my server.
If this idea won't work, then we'll dump this thread :/
I wonder what you're going to send here? Cringe about the game?

It's SafeCrack! birthday!
I wonder what else can happen to this game in the future? :D
(Where we are now:)
Woah, so cute! Is that a little "v" on it? :3
That's pretty much what a lot of older games used to do, and indeed what the Scratch forums themselves advise as well. There's going to be people who just skip levels by looking up codes online, but there's nothing that can be done about that - they'll only be ruining the game for themselves, assuming there are no achievements or leaderboards of the sort.
Yea I agree
Ways I have seen is you would get a certain code after you beat a level and you could just enter it to continue.
Hmm...wow this actually seems like a good one! And then create a list of savecodes, so you enter one of them?
That may be a bit difficult. Your best bet may be to implement some sort of passcode system.
Yea I think that'd work
Oof, I understand. Really thank you for your response, I will try to do something anyway
My game has a cloud variable, that isn't same on different sites, and even can be different after reloading a certain site. So I really doubt I could save/load it somewhere, also I will probably need many cloud variables for each player? This is just my thought, I really don't know much how to work with save/load, cloud variables, etc.
Your thoughts?

Sniff, your name reminds me of the good ol' days, I used to have a 'webdesign company' (well, wanna-be webdesign company, i get no work. heh) called Entropy Webdesign...
I just found that kinda funny.
Try look.

Im working on something and I want to put it up just to show progress. How do most people upload their versions of their projects/games?
Well you can check my profile and read the last post, because the old versions are "stored", do people can see my progress

Yea, that's exactly what I am doing/gonna do (never thought about making "podcasts", lol)

No strict rules - whether you're working on the next big thing, a small game jam game, or just getting started and learning a new tool, all are welcome here!
This is kind of like the long running "Flash reg lounge", but focused more on posting updates on stuff you're working and talking about it. I know the "regulars lounge" can be a bit a intimidating if you're new to the community.
Ok then... I'm working on an update of my *Scratch* game. Rn doing stats update, and a new gameplay feature, hope the update to be small and fast
Wow, looks great, I'll find something for myself... If I used some of your assets, could I mention your account in credits and give you revenue?
Ok, Scratcher here. All my NewGrounds Games are made in Scratch. So, uh, yeah. You can convert to .zip here, good luck on making games!
