Done this redraw almost every year since I started, last year’s was a bit rushed but I like how it turned out overall.

Personally I think they’re really fun when they work out! When it comes to full ones I typically try and do them with mutuals or people I trust to prevent that from happening

What everyone else is saying about shifting your hues when picking shading and light colors is definitely true; I’d say that’s one of your main issues. Another thing I’m seeing is that the shadow isn’t really following the form of the object; in the case of a sphere the shadow would be more curved. One way to work on that is study basic 3D shapes, as well as drawing from life. Building up a visual library is helpful lol-

Basic answer but listening to music. Whether it to tune out other sounds to keep me from being overwhelmed, distract myself, or let myself feel a certain way; it always seems to help-
