Sounds interesting! My team and i will see if we can participate. =)

You should def try playing around with more effects for stuff like this. You can throw any plugin effect on a snare and make it sound cool. Stuff like flangers, phasers, short modulated delays, bitcrushing, distortion, time-stretching, tape stop effects etc. will give you a lot of different textures when used on drums.
You could loop a tiny portion of a snare in a sampler and pitch bend it while the sound is sustained. You can play around with panning snares left and right. There's a lot of sound design stuff that's very easy and very fun to do, so I want to encourage you to try that. Also; you can make a relatively decent clap out of that terrible snare if you do this and add some reverb to it:
Here's the sound if you wanna hear.
I'm half asleep so I don't know if what i wrote here makes sense to you but I hope you find this feedback useful or at least inspiring in some way.
I have news about this! I'm doing a new completely original Sample Pack and i used your tips =)
Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it <3
Stay tuned if you wanna see it when i release it! I will upload it as a post in my NG profile :D

Before that, you need to be scouted, but it seems that you already were, so just follow what I said up here, and that's it!
heya :>
As i said, this is my first sample pack. I mostly made it for some friends which recently started doing music and uhhh i want to help them a little bit with some simple things (which are complex for them)
Anyways, thanks for your opinion about this! Also, the clap sounds really nice, i just was way too lazy to try to make something """interesting""" using it
(i'm sleepy too help)
Hi! I made my first sample pack by sampling the "cw_amenbreaks_hype" Amen Break loop, i hope you like it!
If you wish, you can give me credits in your song if you use this small sample pack, but it is not mandatory, do as you wish.
You're free to give me feedback or telling me if there's anything wrong in this thread, i really like feedback to make my work better :)
Enjoy!
I made a new chiptune song which is castle-themed, i hope you like it :)

I've created over 800 tracks of music and sound effects that you can freely use in your projects. It's all original...all my own work. All I ask is to be attributed as indicated on my homepage:

I sincerely hope my tracks are helpful. Any and all feedback is welcome and always appreciated.
All the best,

Hey! I saw you in the Love2D forum =)
Hi, Even though the game I've contributed to didn't even rank 10th, I'm very happy I participated, It was really fun that adrenaline of having to do everything quickly, although in the case of DNA Delicious (One of the entries of this game jam, and the one which i worked for) the main problem was the lack of experience, since, in this team, we have never participated in a game jam x).
In the same way, thank you very much Stepford, Tom Fulp, and all of you who have collaborated in this Game Jam, although it did not go as planned by the team, it gave us wisdom and experience for the next time <3

GabberMaster (breakcore ready-made gabber kick)
IRdust (simple convolution reverb)
They're all very simple but fun to use.
I'm not sure if there's a 64bits version, if it doesn't work with your daw, you can use jbridge to make it compatible.
I use FL Studio, what daw did you use? and by the way, thanks :)
Hi! I want to make my music better, but i don't think i have enough resources for this, and i don't have money, so i want your help choosing free plugins :) (And with this thread we can help other people tho!)
I recommend you using this format:
Name: Plugin Name
Type: Sound plugin or Effect plugin
Details/Misc: Details about it (F.E.: It fits better in EDM, it's better for making Dubstep growls, etc.)
Thanks in advance! <3

So I'm pretty new to the NG community and I uploaded some of my songs. Had some people reach out asking me to enable my songs for GeometryDash but it's not letting me.
I heard there are multiple ways to get my music to work on there so I thought I'd ask and see what you guys recommend. I don't think I got scouted yet.
Thanks!
Hi! First of all, you need to be scouted, i can help you scouting you :)
Second, your NG account needs to be whitelisted in GD, you can contact a Geometry Dash moderator (Which you can easily contact in the Geometry Dash Official Discord Server) or by posting your songs in some threads, apparently if you get Frontpaged you may be whitelisted.
Good luck!

Hi, if you want to start with something to just see how the DAWs work, i recommend start with something easy, like FL Studio or LMMS, but please don't start with Groovepad or similar
Personally, i started with FL Studio directly, and for logical reasons, it was very difficult for me at first because I never saw any tutorial or anything similar.
Therefore, I recommend that if you start with any DAW, watch tutorials, they are super useful and help you start correctly.
I wish you luck, if you decide to start in the world of music production! :D

Actually, that's a good question, I mean, not all kids still likes it, but i think the majority still likes it(?
