Yeah tag search already does a decent job, while clicking HaxeFlixel in the tools credit will show a list of games that credited it in the tools.


Just curious, how would I find a list of every game tagged with HaxeFlixel on NG? I can add tags to searches, but that requires a main search query, do i search games for " " with the tag "HaxeFlixel"?


Might not need a dedicated collection but doesn’t hurt to make a showcase of favorites, it also works for jams like our historical collections.


Good idea, I could make a HaxeFlixel playlist of just the hits!

@Tom How does this work with existing tags, when I click the tag Godot Engine on a game, it shows a few games with this tag, is this a collection/playlist? should it be? I'm thinking about making an official HaxeFlixel collection but now I'm wondering if tags already make it easy to find every haxeflixel game

clicking any of these and changing either dropdown changes the url to "/playlist/", not sure if that's on purpose, but it further confuses me on what these labels mean


also if you go to collections and toggle off E, T, M and enable A it bugs out

For videos at least we could try showing the title in the actual video player box, where there'd be a lot of room. Would be best to solve it in more places though. A lot of those newly working as3 games are flixel. Maybe soon my old games will start working. would be monumental if we could target flash for future HaxeFlixel games

I wasn't saying the issue is fixed on chrome, just that I'm not seeing the issue on mobile browsers, but I am seeing the issue on Chrome for Mac with trackpad gestures

Love the new art viewer but, when using my mac trackpad, two finger drags will change the zoom, normally two finger drag will scroll, and a pinch will zoom. My pinch gestures seem to be ignored, entirely


I tested all of this on chrome for android and drag and pinch to zoom works perfectly fine.

Here's another question then... If we offered an account-level option to blur adult thumbnails, would you want them only blurred on the front page but not on the hub pages, or would you be ok with them being blurred everywhere? Wonder if we would need it to be granular, like:

1) Don't Blur Adult Thumbnails
2) Blur Adult Thumbnails Everywhere
3) Blur Adult Thumbnails on Front Page Only


Good question, im sure people who come here for adult content can answer better, but i advise against blurring and recommend just maybe a grey banner that says "hover to reveal" or something. I imagine someone browsing NG at a public place, and if there is a bunch of blurred thumbnails it still looks like they are on some porn website

using haxeflixel, they're other github repos referenced as submodules like I said you should do for the picoware thing :p


Submodules were a little hard to deal with last year, and aren't necessary, btw

All the games last year were made in haxe. I wouldn't know how to do other canvases or junk
