Took me a little while to understand the strategy (and that I could prompt to level 3) but I got it eventually. my winning strategy was buffing Excalibur's attack as much as reasonable possible before leveling up to 22 attack and wiping the floor with the king. Also, pumping up the succubus's health to take as many units on one of the other lanes. Last lane was just swarm of rats with bard.

Excellent game! I was captivated from the start and after many runs I now can beat the king on a semi-regular basis. I really like how the game is well balanced and fairly challenging. The only problem I noticed was the sound bugging from time to time.

Really like the art style, very addictive and simple. I wish the upgrades were more intuative, I think there is a language barrier, because I could not figure out how the smith and mage upgrades work, until after many playthroughs and even then they were not worth it. Make the smith and mage upgrade the entire row by one and only upgradeable by 1

Sound does degrade after a few restarts and the ending was not very rewarding. Could have had a good ending much like the artwork in the intro

Finally won! I never really thought of a good strategy, just focused entirely on upgrading units and got the mausoleum really early. I didn't even have clean setup at the end, just spammed my strongest units in the middle and sacrificed some hearts on top and bottom to make sure I got the king. But I do think rushing to the king early is the way to go. When he gets like 50 hearts it feels impossible lol
