yea...... even acters didnt like this version of super marios, nor the game devs... who was this version of super mario was for i have no idea....
Super Mario Bros: The Movie The Game
As a warm-up sketch of sorts I started making the live-action Mario movie cast in Super Mario World pixel style, but more of an amalgamation of both designs. So think Bowser with a superscope and a Dennis Hopper hairdo.
Before I knew it I had these sprites and decided to remake the ending credits of Super Mario World for the SNES but with Mario Movie cast and characters. Even the music is a chiptune of the main advertising song for the trailers.

It's so incredibly cursed.
Cool. People are excited about the upcoming animated Mario film but I’m so glad I grew up with the real thing. I have hopes the animated film will be good but I bet in the end it won’t be as good as the original live action thrill ride. This Ain’t No Game!
