armor games is the best for games.

Yeah, armor games is good from what I hear. Also there is crazy monkey.

I think you need to be finished before they will give you money, though.

How hard are you willing to work? They pay fairly, based on your ability and the amount of work you put in.

Anyway, don't just be hung up on Armor. Explore CrazyMonkeyGames and Flash Portal as well, to see what their sponsorship plans are. I love Armor Games to death, but these other hosts are known to be punctual on payments and well paying to flash artists.

I happen to know that four second frenzy got a pretty penny from Armor games, but jmtb02 is right, explore the interweb. There are many places that will be willing to sponsor you if you have the talent.

*Prizes will only be shipped to U.S addresses. If you live outside the U.S a cash equivalent will be given. Cash amounts are determined by Amazon.com. If a contest winner lives within the U.S and does not want the prize, they can choose to have the cash value added onto their prize winnings.

Thats so unfair D:

Anyways...theres still the money... ill try to make it in time :)

Thank you guys... and a hug for Inglor :)

It's not really unfair if you think about it, cash equivelant means you could use what you get given to buy the prize off somewhere else :P

Oh and Inglor, I sent my game to the contest, but I forgot to put an armor game ad in it >.<, is it ok to stick one in and send it again?

yeah... i realised that afew moments after i posted...

Inglor he can send you a demo and get a estimate of what armor games might pay right?

Response to sponsor/contenst 2006-08-07 15:55:18

He could, but they turned down my game saying it was a little too short, and then I read the thread saying they were focusing mainly on bigger games now (mine was 60 levels long lol).

I still have 1 question, even though they're focusing on bigger games, do they still accept the smaller ones?

Im working on a huge RPG at the moment but it seems I always hit a snag somewhere.
The game I think is extremely good so far but Im not the greatest at AI, so I dont know how long it will take me to finish. But I can do pretty much everything else.

Response to sponsor/contenst 2006-08-07 16:00:29

Well... I'll try to make it within thise 2 months... Youre tha man inglor :)

btw.... insted of making a new tread... what do you think of my game so far... ive been working for 4 days or so:

Controls:
Arrow keys (think ill change that) = walk and jump
mouse = aim
leftmouse button = fire

Response to sponsor/contenst 2006-08-07 16:04:50

It looks interesting but I think you should fix the graphics. And also the controls feel a bit off?

which of the graphics do you think about?

the controls was off? how? well.. its not possible to aim higher or lower than 60 and -60 degrees... if thats what you mean?

Response to sponsor/contenst 2006-08-07 16:15:41

Well the controls were off because when I was aiming down I tried to aim up and he didnt look up. I had to fiddle with it to get him looking up again. And I think you should redraw the characters and convert all the lines to feels so you can see the detail in them.

Make the walking WASD. It is really good.

It was a fun game, and kinda reminds me of worms.

Response to sponsor/contenst 2006-08-07 16:24:10

I dont know it didnt really look right. Mabe you should try a more basic look. Sometimes that really makes it look better( I think). Mabe a cartoonish art style...
