In my opinion, NEVER let the time spent on a piece be the deciding factor of its worth. Sometimes it takes 7 hours to finish something, and sometimes it only takes 2. Take this one for example:

Made it in ~3 hours, I wasn't even happy with the result at the time. Yet, it's one of my most popular pieces, at least if the rating is anything to go by.

Really, unless you end up making something Soooo below your usual quality that it's obviously bad, I don't see any reason not to post/finish it.

The time you take IS a deciding factor. But unless you are pro, it's not a matter of hours, but days.
It's not about working 8 hours plus wiuthout end, but to split up your workflow taking small brakes every 2-3 h, or even continue working the day after. It's the only way to spot mistakes. It something feels wrong, then it's wrong.

So, spend as much time as you have to until you are pleased with it.

Yes, I do agree with this. I just tend to keep the total time spent rather then consecutive since I tend to jump between hobbies a bit, so I kinda forgot to take breaks into account. My bad.

honestly, aside from the face on that first one, these seem to be on par for what you usually put out. Unless there's something about them you really don't like, I don't think you should be too ashamed of uploading these.

That said, if I could offer some critique, I think it would do a lot of good to do some more anatomy practice, especially in the faces. Your pixel art is fine for the most part, but it would really help you pencil works.

Please sharpen your pencil more often... a mechanical pencil 0.5 should also do the job. Later 0.3.
I won't say you started with anatomy yesterday, but those lines are really heavy on the eye.

Kind of dumb, but could be fun seeing one of the forms of the main girl from Mugen Souls, since that game gets next to no love...but if you did do one, I'd have to do something back as thanks, mainly since your art does make me want to draw a lot more by hand again.

Also yeah, I have shared some of your other art with my friends, cause it's just close to a style I want to get good enough to pull off.
