Reviews for "Monkey Wrench 3 - Us & Them"

Incredible stuff.

If this is where you're starting out, I can't wait to see where it ends up! Mercenaries, intrigue, space combat, personal drama, deep loss and interpersonal connections..... The writing is top-notch and the animation and voice acting suits it perfectly!

I look forward to how this show continues!

I watched you on stream working on this episode, I remember specifically that you were working on the animation for Shrike playing the guitar and getting frustrated. That was a very fun stream and I would love to join in for more of them. But amazing work as always, I got goosebumps when "Us" (I'm just gonna call them mushroom head) was talking about the parasitic moldy stuff which took over bot mushroom head and little tip (mushroom head's "friend" that they talked about.) Really was a good contrast to last episode where Shrike and Beebs couldn't save the little crystal guys from shilly-shally.

Now I'm just wondering what influenced you when creating the Tarins as another looming threat in this universe. Side tangent: there is a mushroom called Cordyceps, or "Himalayan Viagra." just as a fun fact for anybody who bothered with their day to read this.

I didn't come here expecting to cry over/relate to an alien mushroom but GOD did I, love this show so much

This animation so much heart from the creators who love animation and Sci-Fi production. This one strongly reminds me of the concept to the first episodes of each Star Trek series, and most to Deep Space Nine and a bit of Next Generation, where the crew meets a beyond rational being who has a conflict of interest with another race. The whole story has the feel of an anime in space along the lines of Cowboy Bebop or another series that could have flown on Saturday Adult Swim as part of the Toonami program. I'm glad this series is growing and has more support from so many people. Finally, what would you say to a bet on which fourth episode will come out sooner, Monkey Wrench or Starbarians?
