I've always enjoyed all forms of adult oriented art, classic pinup art, hentai, fetish photography, etc. And I've always enjoyed drawing. I can't say what sparked the idea but one day I just got inspired to combine the two interests to see what would happen. I had also gone to college for art, animation, and game development so I thought there was some potential to bring that to bear as well.

Stylistically I consider myself sort of halfway between western and eastern, heavily inspired by comics from both sides. I'm continuously trying different things to strike the best balance. As fetishes go, what I draw the most of is transgender and light bdsm type stuff. I also like to dabble in some more "fringe" kinks, but I'll leave those for you to discover.

1. Bikupan / Biku / Beeks. Swedish NSFW freelance artist. Used to work in game development but now it's just a hobby. Spend most of my days streaming work, playing vidya games, or just chilling out with my significant other and our cat.

To tell you truth, I've been both busy and also slightly less motivated to be drawing and indulging in all this NSFW biz. However the motivation has been kicking back up and I've gotten back to drawing, and back to this thread. I love that there's been even more artists posting here since I was gone!

But I think this all raises a pretty important question that I want you guys to answer/discuss to the best of the your abilities: how do you deal with burnout or a lack of motivation to draw? Better put, how do you discipline yourself to keep going? Because I'm sure as artists we've all been there, especially for us NSFW enthusiasts who have the additional struggle of being faced with so much pressure from the outside world to, well, not do what we do.

So how do y'all deal with it when all these negative feelings start cropping up? Do you just power through them, do you take some time off, what's your strategy?

You could make a rule that you only bust a nut with your own stuff, then you'll get bored by your old stuff and you will HAVE to make more. lolz

Ok but now for real, i think maybe make a plan and stick to it? like, if you want to make money out of it, keep that in mind always. Think like "alright, if i do this right, i won't need to work in a crap job, i'll be my own boss" etc. I didn't arrive at that point just yet, but i'm very confident i will, and this keeps me motivated! Before that, i only drawn when i felt like it, so i guess it works.

Wanted to reply yesterday but Newgrounds was down for some reason. Anyways, I typically just draw porn stuff when I'm hrony or struck with an idea I really like. With any art, you should maybe grab a personal journal that you can keep with you during the day to sketch and doodle in. Even if you don't feel like drawing, start putting down some lines when you have some free time, sometimes it can lead to inspiration.

As for the stigma of drawing NSFW, just don't even listen to it. You like porn, you know others like porn, people enjoy drawing the porn you like, it's normal. Does that mean go to all your friends and talk about it? No.

When you feel like you're in a rut over NSFW I would suggest taking some time to draw SFW stuff, I find I typically begin missing drawing NSFW when I've had time away for it so maybe that'll work for you. If you have started drawing I'd be curious to see some of your current work even if it's just sketches or doodles. Hearing feedback might help inspire you to draw some more.

I did draw nsfw art for strangers in the past but i realized it makes me really uncomfortable for many reasons so i only draw for myself or friends. I started creating +18 content about 4 years back mainly focused on Futa, but only started to take it more seriously 2 years ago and somehow deviated towards Fanart, Yuri and small commissions (Futa also still on the list) ...

1) I'm Blaze, I've been drawing semi-regularly for about nine or so years at this point. Come a long way since then though I am still trying to get better. Or, faster, since it still takes me a very long time to get even a relatively simple image done - I try my best to have anatomy and poses make sense, so that probably devours a lot of the time. I'm generally otherwise your average nerd on the internet that has dipped their toes in to a lot of different things.

2) I've honestly forgotten, at this point. I think it was a way to get some of my ideas 'on paper' so to speak? Eventually as I got more comfortable with drawing in general I started to draw lewd stuff I had an interest in and got introduced to over time that I got a kick out of. Especially after I was made aware of the existence of Corruption of Champions. That game was a treasure trove of all sorts of weird kinky stuff I didn't know I was in to.

3) I'm not sure I 'specialise' in anything, but I love it when 'typical gender boundaries' get messed with. Girly boys, large stronger ladies, pegging, and futa/herm/etc characters - especially if they're screwing a cute guy's brains out. I have a lesser focus on Pokemon as well; like a lot of people I've been with that series for a very long time. I like cute things in general.
