I've been rather discouraged lately and it hasn't helped to see AI doing "better" then I do in far less time. What do you folks think?

Of course, and since you got scouted, that means you do the art with very good quality. Even if it says that quality is better and greater than quantity.
The more hard work we put in, the more recognition and quality end up well.

Thanks
I see potential. Don't let the automated plagiarism machine discourage you.
Your designs are really cool, and I love the choice of colors!
I guess the one thing you could be practicing a little more is poses? Otherwise, really cool! And as somebody who never got good at traditional art, the fact that some of this is on paper is impressive to me!
Someone please help me revive my clubs

I like it they remind me a bit of Artwork in comics in the Newspapers not that that is a bad thing
I like your drawings, they have personality. Of course, there are some spots to improve, like lineart, but overall, your work looks great. You feel discouraged because of comparision, but don't overthink that, we all learn and improve at different paces.
Also, "AI does things better in less time". What have you been eating? Most of AI art i've seen is trash. AI doesn't even do hands right: you can't call yourself an artist if you can't draw hands
