I made this but I have no idea what genre this is. So I chose miscellaneous. It doesn't use much chiptune so I don't think it is video game, nor is it classical just because it uses real instrument.
What should I assign this to?

I would say itd fall under ska or jazz. Aside from that I really love this song man great job!
Genres can be helpful for distinction when you're in the mood for a certain type of music, but I would say that's the extent one should worry about genre. I just file all my audio uploads under "experimental"; makes it easier on me since I don't really give a shit about labels.

I do the haha funni voic, and make the vidyo gay muzik, I also write okay... I think?
I'll have to agree with Tapestoppa on jazz, you can keep it under miscellaneous if you'd like though.
Music genres can be super vague a lot of the times.
Maybe you could even say the track you showed as an example, can be considered Polka, by how the tuba (or other low-toned brass instrument if I got that wrong) plays.
Video-game as a genre is also just a weird way of putting it sometimes. You could have a fully orchestrated track, compared to like a full chiptune or 8Bit track, and both can be in that same genre. Because any kind of music can be put into video games nowadays.
I we'd still be in the 80s, it would be way more straightforward of a genre, because we only had the simple bleepy bloopy electronic sounds back then.
Its a whole bunch of gray areas all in one. But at the end of the day, all that matters is if its an enjoyable tune or not. So call it whatever genre you want.
Might as well just call the concept of genres: a loosey goosey way of keeping things organised.
