I recently uploaded 2 tracks, I'm whitelisted on NG, and also all of my other tracks work, the API is checked and is public, what's going on? In GD it says "Song not allowed for use"

The whitelist is a list that dictates what Newgrounds artists have their songs available for usage in-game. Elder moderators can add artists to this whitelist, but first, canditates must meet a few requirements;
Artist must be scouted
Scouting is a system implemented by Newgrounds to filter low quality composers from the poll of artists. To be scouted, artists need to be approved by another already scouted artist. Requirements for scouting is to have a few songs uploaded that may prove the candidate artist is authentic and adheres to the site wide rules (i.e. No copyright infringements and SFW content). Elder moderators cannot scout artists.
To fit the standard established by Geometry dash moderators
Artists are whitelisted when they meet a standard that works similarly to Newgronds scouting; Artists must have a number of songs to determine their quality and to determine if these songs are appropriate for the game. Whitelisting isn't for everyone as that may increase the risk of stolen songs to be uploaded to the game.
Elder moderators generally take requests through DMs and dedicated discord server channels. The process is not inmediate.

People have used many of my songs in GD and they all work, what do you mean?

Has anything changed since you posted this? I'm wondering if it's a matter of the GD side needing to refresh their data.

No nothing changed.
I'm experiencing the same problem. I've been both scouted and whitelisted (according to SirHadoken), yet only one of my songs works in-game: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1228457
I have "allow for external API use" checked off for my other songs, both older and newer than that one, yet GD doesn't let me use them.

Little update: still not allowed for use in-game despite everything being right, and now the one song that I linked below no longer works. If this is a GD server-side issue, I wonder if GD 2.2 could've had something to do with it.
Notified the elder mod who whitelisted me so hope things work out. I kinda wanna make chiptune now that platform mode is a thing :)

You have to be whitelisted on GD itself

The same issue happens to much other artists as well, even if they've been scouted on the site, whitelisted in the game, and the external API usage option is turned on. Usually, the issue appears when loading the audio ID in the game, and the size is 0.00MB but the song cannot be downloaded in the game, or only the message "Song is not allowed for use." is displayed.

Unfortunately, even after 2.2 update was released, this issue is still unresolved.

Nejvex might lost his scout status, that may be the reason.
