im working on a pac man flash recreation and im thinking if i should redraw the sprites or just use the original sprites

Redraw because while yes, reusing assets from the original game can save time and costs, the Game Guidelines has this clause in its' rules.

Your game must not use Angry Birds or Super Mario Bros. characters/sprites. In general you shouldn't be using any sprites you don't have full rights to.

Unless you wanna to try this clause with your submission, your safest bet is to just make your own sprites and don't use any sprites that you probably don't have the rights to use.

oh, but i feel like using the sprites cuz i can use the sprites for sprite animations
