I'm developing a game since April. I'm just curious if the gamers out their would be interested in a game in this genre Niche. The game I'm developing is basically like a old game called Drug wars fused with GTA or Scarface: The World is Yours.
It will be primarily text based, (on Mobile Phones), with RPG mechanics, simulation, and some real time controls like the world/city you'll be able to control your car to drive around. It's open world with any story/mission arcs being less of a priority, and the overall gameplay, strategy, and decisions you can make to build a criminal empire being the primary focus.
You'll do criminal contraband deals, starting from the bottom with small deals, all the way to eventually recruiting a crew, owning real-estate, warehouses, production shops, while laundering money, and making sure you don't get busted by federal agents, or police. There's rival thugs, gangs, cartel, mafia groups, that can all add to the roadblocks of you fighting over turf or you can take diplomatic approaches where you can pay tax, or distribute better product to these originations.
So yeah, any gamers out there would you be interested in a game like this?
