Not worked in the Industry but I am working on a larger project and I'm honestly surprised I haven't dropped this project. For this one I am working on a Megaman Type game that's a mix of Megaman's gunplay and zero's sword play + melee combos.
The player having thrust attacks, slash attacks, multi-hit moves, etc.
Any big project so far I've worked on I tossed in the trash because of my lack of knowledge bringing down the game experience. As of right now mostly studying other platformers to get a feel for the genres and even playing some old Megaman X games to get a feel for them.
I guess I would count the Digital Tabletop System I have been working on as well as a big project; effectively trying to make a digital tabletop book with useful tools the players can use to help break down the complex and make it all around more fun.
