Hello, I am a beginning game developer who would appreciate feedback on their game!
I think a HTML game would be easier to use. With swf programs would be more complicated to make unless you have more experience with those then you can do it when your up for the challenge and have better results.

As someone who started the same way on a game developement journey. Start with a simple concept because remember you have to create everything. Making a video game is like playing god. You are creating a new world with new logic. So better start with something simple that won't be too overwhelming.

There are a couple of game making engines out there to start with. I would also recommend going to your local bookstore and finding some coding books depending on the code you will be coding in. I'm using Gamemaker studio 2 to develop my stuff, but I started out with Flash and even with Phaser building my games. There are excellent tutorials on Youtube for sure. The catch behind GameMaker Studio 2 is that you have to pay to export the game currently. If you want Godot game engine is free, but the coding is a bit advanced though.

I am ready to program in as3/as2 or website
HTML5 or Flash
HTML5 (Construct 2 or Construct 3) is the easy one except GameMaker, etc... Construct 2/3 is very easy
