Hey there! My alias is Synami, and I've been making tracks since I was the age of 10 (now, 15). My DAW of choice has always been FL Studio, because of familiarity more or less. I've always had a particular interest in electronic music, specifically Drum & Bass and noise music so I make a combination of those two quite frequently.
As of May 2022, my favourite artists are gyrofield, Secula, Current Value, Dreamcrusher, ferlite and Result. You can probably hear inspiration from at least one of these in most of my tracks!
Here's a short summary for each of the 23 tracks I've posted here so far:
First thing posted here, specifically for the site. I had a pretty fun time making this, with the manic drum patterns and bass.
Definitely inspired by Phace and new Neosignal releases. I'm still very proud with how this turned out, especially the snare.
Probably one of my weakest releases, but still managed to rack up 1,200+ listens on SoundCloud with high engagement. I'm glad quite a few people stuck around after that, with me releasing more free downloads on that site.
Another NG exclusive, taking quite a different approach to my usual tracks. Heavily experimental with the usage of Patcher's Rohr effect, but is still pretty sleepy.
One of the only tracks where I tried to make a story surrounding it, it works well story wise but otherwise I'm not too proud with this one compared to other tracks. The strings are still nice, thanks to LABS. :)
Made for a closed collective, HEPTAIKON, where the premise was to make a track based off an image. Safe to say it worked well, but the shock factor disappears quite quickly.
More shock factors! Quite proud with this based solely off of execution, as I haven't tried Uptempo Hardcore until then. I'm quite shocked when even in 320kbps, the second drop sounds relatively low quality. :D
Filler track, I guess? I still remember the second drop from time to time, which I still like.
An actual filler track, liquid D&B this time. I don't ever remember this, which should say a lot as I made it. :0
This track was made in 30 minutes for a competition in a discord server. Only loops which were allowed were drum loops. I'm still surprised I made something like this in that short of a time. ^^
7 Minute house track, somewhat inspired by deadmau5's simpler works in 2009-2010.
Decided to try breakcore, turned out pretty well! The saw synth in the second drop is especially something I'm proud of.
Pretty messy Drum & Bass track, but I felt like it was executed well. Might drag on for some, but not for me.
Probably one of the best tracks I have as of now, probably explains why I've made more tracks where the dynamic range resembles a brick. The sub and highs are very fluid, even if the volume isn't.
Another track which I posted on SoundCloud, I'm also very proud of this one. The only thing I felt like I could've done better here is changing up the second drop and second buildup.
Another lengthy house track, but the mix here isn't as good as I want it to be. I should've made the kick easier to spot out.
Reaching close to positive LUFS, this is a loud but short beast of a track. I don't use the amen break often, but when I do, I'm sure to make it count.
Similar to Serenade, but longer and slightly less abrasive. I really like how I did the intro and buildup, with a very low saw wave increasing in pitch over time on top of effect abuse.
I listened to Yeezus, my favourite tracks were On Sight and Bound 2 so I tried to go for something similar for On Sight plus some noise musician influence.
I still do not know what exact genre this would fit in, but I like how it sounds nonetheless. The sub especially fits well with the drums and synths.
Heavily LABS-reliant, I still get a kick out of listening to this from time to time even if this isn't executed in the best way, especially with the snare.
Self explanitory. I probably could've put in another synth or changed the structure a little so that there's a piano solo similar to some of A-N's tracks. The TF2 samples though, I love 'em.
